The Codes, by Ken Miller K6CTW - On October 8, 2008 at 7:30 PM

Ken presented a fine and well presented program.

Ken talked about "American Morse, the transition and evolution to the Continental Code (what we hams use on CW) and a little Russian Morse with some useful DX phrases."

Ken's BIO:

I was originally licensed as a novice with the call-sign WN2BKC in Madison, NJ in 1967. I soon took the General Class tests in New York city and became WB2BKC where I began a lifelong fascination with CW and the National Traffic System. I have held a number of call-signs since with my last two being VE7CTW and now K6CTW. About 10 years ago I became fascinated with Morse (a.k.a. American Morse) and learned the code with the assistance of a great program by Jim Farrior, W4FOK, and a 20 ohm sounder. Combining my interests in Morse and CW with modern languages, I am now in the process of learning Russian and Russian Morse!
